It Takes A Village Animal Shelter

Since opening on April 1, 2025, the Owensboro Rescue Center has been dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. We accept owner surrenders, providing each animal with necessary veterinary care before placing them up for adoption into loving homes.

We also take in stray animals and work diligently to reunite them with their families. When owners cannot be located, these animals receive full veterinary services and are made available for adoption.

In addition, we operate a low-cost spay and neuter clinic to support pet owners throughout Daviess County, helping reduce overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.
