Thank you so much for your interest in Hartford Christian Church! We would love for you to be our guest and invite you to be a part of our church family!

Our mission as a church can be summed up in the following statement:

Helping people discover Jesus and His calling on their lives.

We believe that every person is a work of art created by God. God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to save us from our sins. God’s first call on our lives is to a loving relationship with Jesus our Lord. 

We are then called to be in community with other Christians as the Body of Christ. It is in the community of the church that we grow in our faith and love. Finally, we believe that God calls us to serve Him and others. He has uniquely gifted each and every person in order to bring the Good News of Jesus to the people in our lives and across the world.

Hartford Christian Church is affiliated with the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The only way to forgiveness and salvation is through faith in Jesus. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We embrace that there will be differing theological views among our church and hold tightly to the principle, “In essentials, unity; in opinions, liberty; in all things love.”
