Blackbird Cafe

Blackbird Cafe opened its doors in February 2025, bringing a lifelong dream to life for its owners and a fresh sense of warmth to Main Street. 

Housed in the historic c. 1965 Dedman’s Drug Store building, the cafe carries forward a legacy of community gathering while creating something entirely its own. With its small-town charm and welcoming atmosphere, Blackbird Cafe was built to be more than just a place to eat—it’s a place where neighbors meet, stories are shared, and memories are made. 

With a nod to the past, its old-fashioned soda fountain added to the cafe in the 1920's, brings a touch of nostalgia—serving up classic malts, thick milkshakes, towering banana splits, and a reminder of the days when a stool at the counter was the best seat in town.  

From hearty half-pound burgers and Philly cheesesteaks, to classics like Reubens and patty melts, to homemade soups, fresh crisp salads, and cold sandwiches, Blackbird Cafe offers something for everyone—comfort food made with care and served with a smile.
