About

I’m a therapist, creative, and small business owner based in Murray. While I didn’t grow up in Kentucky, this community has become an important part of my life and work. It’s where I’ve built my career, deepened my relationships, and created a practice centered on connection, healing, and meaningful change.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Murray State University, followed by a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), specializing in trauma recovery. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and Polyvagal-informed care, with a focus on how the nervous system holds and processes lived experience.

In my work, I often help clients understand that their responses—whether anxiety, overwhelm, or disconnection—are not failures, but adaptations. Therapy becomes a space to safely explore those patterns, build regulation skills, and move toward a greater sense of stability, agency, and self-trust. I value a relational, collaborative approach, where clients feel both supported and empowered in their healing process.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, restoring furniture, gardening, and being near the water whenever I can. I’m drawn to spaces that invite reflection and calm—something I aim to cultivate in both my personal life and my clinical work.

Through my presence here, I hope to contribute to a community where people feel seen, supported, and able to move forward with greater clarity and resilience—wherever they’re starting from.
