FUNctional Therapy

FUNctional Therapy began as one occupational therapist’s passion for helping children has grown into one of Louisville’s resources for individualized pediatric therapy.

Founded in 2013 by occupational therapist Anna Coble, FUNctional Therapy was created with a vision to provide exceptional, whole-person care for children and families throughout the Kentucky community. Since then, the practice has grown into a thriving multidisciplinary therapy clinic serving hundreds of families each week through occupational and speech therapy services.

At the heart of FUNctional Therapy is a commitment to seeing each child as more than a diagnosis and understanding their whole self, recognizing their unique strengths, differences, and support needs while helping them build the skills, confidence, enjoyment, and independence needed to thrive in everyday life. The clinic is known for its personalized evaluations, engaging treatment sessions, family education, and specialized support. 

For Anna, founding FUNctional Therapy was driven by a desire to create the kind of therapy practice she believed families deserved. One where children are celebrated for their individuality, parents feel supported, and clinicians are empowered to provide truly personalized care. Over the years the company has grown into a team of approximately 20 professionals who share a passion for compassionate, evidence-based treatment and meaningful impact.

Beyond the clinic walls, FUNctional Therapy extends its mission through parent education groups, community partnerships, and collaboration with local schools and nonprofits. This furthers the commitment to supporting not just clients, but the families and communities around them.
