The Judge Joseph Holt House

 The rich history associated with General Joseph Holt, Lincoln's TJAG, and his monumental home and the United States Army Corps has brought back a forgotten hero in America and Kentucky. Restoring the historic mansion of a famed Kentucky lawyer is the story of dedication, perseverance, the willingness to overcome, and have love for something more than self, Joseph Holt's own community have saved a national treasure and now the home is open to the public serving our community with Concert on the Lawn, Holt Home Community Day, Student Day, Christmas at the Home Home, retreats, and professional developments and events for the United States Army JAG Corps, and community requests. The Judge Joseph Holt Home is the people's home where all events for the public are free.

 The home is owned by Breckinridge County Fiscal Court through a Kentucky Lincoln Bicentennial grant and they work in a cooperative agreement with the Friends of the Holt Home, Inc. a non-profit organization made up of ALL volunteers.  Susan B. Dyer is the Founder and President of the Friends of the Holt Home, Inc.
