Where Unforgettable Moments Bloom
A surprising number of people will drive hours for a field of flowers. Then again, most flower fields do not come with tea parties, beekeeping classes, curated picnic setups, and enough lavender to perfume the air before you even step out of the car. That combination has helped Bayer Farms Lavender Fields & Products become one of Northern Kentucky’s most beloved agritourism destinations, a place where visitors can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy a setting that feels far removed from the daily rush.
Founded in 2020 by Gregg and Melissa Bayer, Bayer Farms is a family‑owned lavender farm growing thousands of lavender plants, including premium culinary varieties used throughout its products. During lavender season, from late May through early July, guests wander the fields, pick fresh lavender, attend wreath‑making workshops, enjoy garden tea parties, and participate in seasonal classes. The farm also produces a full line of culinary and wellness goods inspired by the harvest, including lavender‑infused foods, pain‑relief products, and its signature honey‑magnesium glaze.
Beyond lavender season, Bayer Farms continues its work as a year‑round Kentucky farm, creating hands‑on opportunities for visitors to connect with agriculture in meaningful, approachable ways.
The 2026 Best of Kentucky Award recognizes Bayer Farms Lavender Fields & Products for creating an experience that extends far beyond a photo opportunity. The farm has become a gathering place for celebrations, classes, seasonal events, and memorable afternoons spent among the blooms. As more visitors discover the fields each season, Bayer Farms continues to showcase a side of Kentucky agriculture that is welcoming, educational, and refreshingly easy to enjoy, one lavender‑filled visit at a time.
